The owner was super friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The overall cleanliness was great, just a bit of dust in some areas. The comfortable beds and good shower were mind-blowing. The room was spacious and warm, perfect for a cold August night. Having tea and coffee as standard was a nice touch. The location was easy to find and in a quiet area. Although the bathroom could use some updating, it didn't take away from the jaw-dropping experience.

I stayed here for 1 night. I liked the host. The room was exceptionally clean and warm, there were central heating, an iron, and a work desk, quite useful. The neighbourhood was fairly quiet.

Had reasonably large and warm rooms!
It was peaceful in the middle of the city. The host met us and explained everything:)))

The location was wicked, just a short distance from the Stadium of Light and we had a blast watching the game. The beds were so comfy, like sleeping on clouds, and the hot shower was a lifesaver after a long day of exploring Durham. Such a rad time!
The only thing we wished for was a cooler hangout spot. It would've been awesome if there was a chill common area or rooftop terrace where we could have pre-game parties with our crew.

I recently stayed at Kelvin House and overall, it was a decent experience. The host was friendly and welcoming, making me feel comfortable during my stay. The bed in my room was comfortable and the shower was good. The accommodation was clean and tidy, with good facilities. Despite a few minor flaws like an uncomfortable sofa bed and previously used butter and jam in the fridge, overall, I would recommend this hotel.

The bed was so comfy, it was like sleeping on a cloud. Plus, the room was huge, so all five of us could chill out together. The best part? It was only a short drive away from the Stadium of Light, where we caught an epic game. Perfect for party-loving teens like us!
The only thing we wished for was a cool hangout spot in the hotel where we could have a pre-party before hitting the town. It would've been awesome to have a game room or a lounge area with some sick tunes and a mini bar.

We had a pleasant stay at a friendly and welcoming accommodation. The overall cleanliness was good, with just a bit of dust in the plates area. The pull-out bed, although a futon, was reasonably comfortable, albeit low. It was easy to find the place, and the area was quiet. The large room had a comfortable bed and provided warmth on a cold August night. We were happy to have tea and coffee as standard.
Absolutely nothing! 🙌
